Voxnib
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 23 May 2026
This policy explains what information Voxnib collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it short and plain because that is how the product works too.
Who we are
Voxnib (“Voxnib”, “we”, “us”) is a voice-note transcription service operated by Marouane Bouzyt, based in Hungary. For any privacy question you can reach us at support@voxnib.com. For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Marouane Bouzyt is the data controller.
What we collect
- Account information. When you sign in, we store an account identifier and the email address provided by your sign-in provider (Apple or Google). This identifies your account and your subscription.
- Messaging identifiers. If you connect a chat app, we store the phone number, Instagram handle, or Telegram username you provide so we can link that channel to your account.
- Voice-note audio. The audio you forward is used only to produce a transcript. See “How audio is handled” below.
- Transcripts. The text transcript and summary we generate, retained for up to 30 days so you can read it again.
- Usage data. Basic, non-advertising analytics (for example, that a transcription completed and how long it took) so we can keep the service reliable. We do not include the content of your transcripts in analytics.
How audio is handled
When you send a voice note, we pass the audio to our transcription provider, Google Gemini, solely to generate the transcript and summary. The audio is deleted immediately after processingand is never stored on Voxnib’s servers. We keep only the resulting transcript text, and only for 30 days, after which it is deleted automatically. You can delete a transcript sooner at any time.
How we use your information
- To transcribe and summarise the voice notes you send.
- To maintain your account, history, and subscription.
- To send you a transcript-ready notification, where applicable.
- To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
- To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:
- Google (Gemini) — to process audio into text, as described above.
- Stripe — to process payments. Stripe handles your card details directly; Voxnib never receives or stores them.
- Meta (WhatsApp, Instagram) and Telegram — the messaging platforms through which you may use Voxnib. Your use of those apps is also governed by their own privacy policies.
- Infrastructure and analytics providers that help us run the service, under appropriate data-processing terms.
Legal bases (GDPR)
We process your data to perform our contract with you (providing the service), to comply with legal obligations, and on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping Voxnib secure and functional. Where required, we rely on your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these, email support@voxnib.com or follow our Data Deletion instructions. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
Data retention
Audio is deleted right after processing. Transcripts are deleted after 30 days. Account and subscription records are kept for as long as your account is active and as required to meet legal and accounting obligations, then deleted.
Children
Voxnib is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you.
